Noryl GTX* Resin
Strenth, Paintability and Lightweight
Noryl* GTX resins are modified polyphenylene ether (PPE) / polyamide (PA) resin blends that combine PPE's dimensional stability, low water absorption and heat resistance with PA's chemical resistance and flow characteristics. Grades include flame retardant, filled, conductive, blowmolding/extrusion in addition to injection molding grades, ultra high stiffness, automotive, and high flow.

• As screw speed is increased, shear heating increases; reducing barrel temperatures helps keep melt temperature under control.
• Processing temperature must be measured with a hand-held probe as opposed to an internal-head probe.
• A reverse barrel profile may increase output while maintaining the melt temperature.
